Professional statement

Let’s be real—life doesn’t come with a manual, and sometimes it feels like everyone else got the memo but you. If you’ve been carrying emotional weight from past trauma, tough family dynamics, or the everyday stress of trying to keep it all together, therapy can be a place to finally exhale. I work with women and teen girls who are ready to feel more like themselves again—even if they’re not quite sure where to start.

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth (and yes, we might even laugh a little along the way—healing doesn’t have to be all heavy, all the time). Using EMDR, experiential symbolic therapy, and mindfulness, I create a space where you can safely confront painful memories, process difficult emotions, and break the cycles that hold you back. We’ll work together to help you find your voice, build inner confidence, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m compassionate, approachable, and honest—someone who truly listens without judgment and knows when to gently challenge you to grow. Whether you're working through reproductive trauma, maternal mental health issues, or just feeling emotionally stuck, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I offer remote therapy for clients across Maryland and Washington, D.C. With flexible evening and weekend appointments, therapy can fit into your life instead of adding stress to it. If you're ready for things to feel a little lighter, I’d love to support you in getting there.

Message to clients

Before we begin, I want you to know—this is your space. A space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. A space where you can be honest, messy, uncertain, or overwhelmed. You’re not expected to show up as anything other than who you are, right now. I know reaching out for support can feel scary and vulnerable, especially if you’ve been the strong one for everyone else. But you don’t have to carry it all on your own anymore.

My role is to walk beside you—to listen deeply, hold space for your emotions, and offer tools that support your healing in a way that feels true to you. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it is worth it. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, stories, and stuck points that may be holding you back, and start building toward the clarity, confidence, and emotional relief you’ve been craving.

My greatest hope is that you’ll leave each session feeling more connected to your strength and more at home within yourself. You already have what it takes to move forward—and I’m here to help you access it, every step of the way.
