Professional statement

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and believe that there is power in learning to balance our lives emotionally and spiritually. I have 30-plus years as a counselor and have been able to help clients find emotional and general life balance. I am drawn to helping mood disorders, anger management, anxiety and depression, couples/relationship counseling, and those seeking general meaning and purpose in life.

I draw from primary treatment modalities of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution Focused, Psychodynamic and Existential Theories. I take a collaborative approach with my clients to build a safe, respectful and confidential environment. I strive to be present at all times and provide you with all of my focus and attention.

I have experience in a wide array of settings. I have worked a professional/corporate setting, military, emergency care, and have been private practice for over 20 years.

I am accessible for therapy sessions primarily virtually but also offer face to face counseling sessions on Mondays -5-8 pm. I am located at 547 Highland St STE A, Mt Holly, NC 28120.
