Professional statement

Kerri Weaver is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Dance Movement Therapist with a Master’s in Dance Movement Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. She has dedicated her career to blending psychotherapy with dance, yoga, and creative arts to create a holistic and empowering approach to healing.

Kerri is passionate about reframing ADHD from a stigma into a strength. She works primarily with creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and students—especially women navigating ADHD—helping them turn challenges into opportunities for personal and professional growth. Her sessions are tailored, integrating talk therapy with movement, mindfulness, and creative expression.

Her professional journey includes co-founding a Healing Arts Program at a psychiatric hospital, where she introduced innovative therapeutic arts practices to clinical care. Her own experiences living with late-diagnosed ADHD give her deep empathy and insight into the struggles her clients face.

Kerri founded the Create Balance Healing Arts Collective as a space for women’s empowerment and holistic wellness. The Collective offers both in-person and virtual sessions in a warm, welcoming environment where silenced voices are heard, celebrated, and healed.

With more than a decade of experience, Kerri has been recognized as one of Hey Rhody’s Leading Ladies of 2024 for her commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and compassionate care.

While her focus is on supporting women, Kerri warmly welcomes all who are seeking growth, connection, and healing.

Message to clients

I'm your “out-of-the-box” Mental Health Counselor, Dance Movement Therapist, yogi, and dancer. Known for my quirky personality, I bring creativity, authenticity, and the occasional well-placed curse word into the therapy room to keep things real and relatable.

Diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I’ve transformed what once felt like a challenge into a superpower that shapes my empathetic and innovative approach to therapy. I’m especially passionate about helping creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and college students reframe ADHD—not as a limitation, but as a powerful source of strength and possibility.

In our sessions, you can expect a blend of movement, creative expression, personal storytelling, and practical ADHD management strategies. This holistic, out-of-the-box approach creates a safe and supportive space where you’re free to explore, grow, and develop tools to navigate life’s complexities with confidence.

If you’re ready to transform your challenges into strengths and take creative control of your life, I’m here to guide and support you. Together, we’ll embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment- where your voice isn’t just heard, but celebrated!
