Kristin Michaelson, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey and a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York. Kristin earned her MSW at Rutgers University. She also studied Psychology, Human Development, and the Biological Basis of Behavior during her Masters and Undergraduate degrees at Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively.
Kristin’s experience includes 20 years in the world of education, as a teacher, teacher educator, and consultant. Kristin has worked as a clinician in private practice with adults, children, and families. She has also worked with the senior community at the Jewish Community Center in Tenafly, with clients who had progressive memory and motor disorders.
Kristin is a dynamic and interactive therapist with a solution-focused style. She collaboratively works with clients to discover strengths and solutions while providing an empathetic foundation of care.
