Professional statement

Starting therapy can feel intimidating—there’s often uncertainty, fear of judgment, or the discomfort of exploring emotions you’ve kept buried for a long time. But fear often signals an opportunity for growth. In therapy, Kyle aims to create a space that feels relaxed, open, and even enjoyable, where laughter can exist alongside deep emotional work. His approach centers on building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship—because meaningful change happens most reliably when you feel safe, seen, and understood.

Kyle earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University in 2020, he has spent the past five years providing therapy in a variety of clinical settings across the Chicagoland area. His experience includes working with adults navigating intense shame, difficulty regulating emotions, and low self-esteem. Kyle's practice integrates psychodynamic exploration with cognitive-behavioral tools and mindful self compassion practices. This helps clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves which often lays the foundation for real, lasting change

Kyle also enjoy supporting clients struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, gender and sexuality concerns, communication challenges, and men’s issues. He especially welcome LGBTQ+ clients and those who may not have had many safe spaces to explore their inner lives.
