Many adults reach a point where the stress and pace of life start catching up with them. Anxiety may become constant in the background, your mind may not slow down, focus may feel harder than it used to be, and your mood or motivation can shift in ways that feel confusing or discouraging. You may be managing work, relationships, and responsibilities while internally feeling overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that are no longer working. If any of this sounds familiar, therapy can help you understand what is happening and find a clearer way forward.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, addictions (including alcohol, drugs, and food), bipolar disorder, trauma-related concerns, emotional dysregulation, and significant life changes. With more than 30 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Specialist, I understand how these challenges intersect and how deeply they can affect work, relationships, identity, and self-trust.
My approach is thoughtful, direct, and practical. Rather than staying only at the level of insight, we look at the patterns that keep problems in place and develop clear strategies to improve emotional regulation, decision-making, and follow-through in everyday life. Therapy is collaborative and active, with a focus on helping you feel steadier, more confident in your thinking, and better able to move forward.
Clients often appreciate having a therapist who is experienced, straightforward, and engaged in the work—someone who can help them understand what is happening while also offering concrete ways to create meaningful change.
