Many adults seek therapy because they feel overwhelmed, emotionally stretched, or stuck in patterns that no longer make sense — even though they appear to be managing on the outside. Anxiety, mood instability, attention difficulties, substance use, and major life transitions often overlap and shift over time, making it hard to know what to address first.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, addictions (including alcohol, drugs, and food), bipolar disorder, trauma-related concerns, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. With over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Specialist, I understand how these challenges intersect and how deeply they can affect work, relationships, identity, and self-trust.
My approach is thoughtful, direct, and grounded. I focus on understanding underlying patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, and helping clients make practical changes that support stability and follow-through. Therapy is collaborative and active, with attention to both insight and real-world application.
Clients often appreciate that sessions are structured without being rigid, supportive without being vague, and focused on meaningful change rather than just talking things through.
In addition to individual therapy, I offer structured, parent-focused executive functioning coaching for families with teens (ages 13–18) who have ADHD. This short-term, self-pay service is designed to help parents reduce conflict at home and support functioning at school. More information is available on my website.
