Dr. Becker's practice is primarily Psychodynamically and internal Family Systems oriented, and incorporates tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and Supportive Therapy.

Message to clients

I have expertise in healing from the inside out to free you of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship and family struggles, grief and trauma. I can also help you work through challenging periods, adjustments and transitions. Most of my clients begin therapy hoping to heal relationships, alleviate emotional pain, fix problematic behaviors and improve their overall life satisfaction. Still, mustering the courage to begin therapy can feel scary and anxiety provoking. I will do my very best to help you feel relaxed and at ease. It has been my experience that my clients ultimately enjoy the process of becoming healthier and more self-aware. My approach to therapy is individualized. I take special care to create treatment plans that are unique to each person. I believe that life’s challenges represent opportunities for growth and that we are all inherently capable of tackling our problems and creating fulfilling, meaningful lives. I love my job because I am I able to help others find the relief and change they are looking for.
