Professional statement

I am a bilingual therapist (Spanish & English) with over 13 years of experience providing mental health services across schools, in-home settings, outpatient care, and private practice. I work with clients ages 16 and older, specializing in helping individuals heal from trauma, navigate life transitions, and manage anxiety and depression. My approach focuses on building practical coping tools you can use day-to-day while also addressing the deeper patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Throughout my career, I have received advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma Incident Reduction (TIR), and Somatic Therapy, among others. Although I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities, my work is grounded in a client-centered approach—meaning I develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

Currently, I provide services via telehealth exclusively for clients residing in the state of Virginia and Washington, DC.

Message to clients

Do you feel weighed down by stress, sadness, or constant worry? Maybe past experiences keep resurfacing, making it hard to enjoy the present or plan for the future. You might feel stuck in cycles of self-doubt, grief, or uncertainty, unsure how to move forward. Many of my clients share these struggles—they want relief from anxiety, trauma, or depression, and reassurance that they don’t have to carry it alone.

Reaching out for therapy takes courage & is a true sign of strength. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you process the past, discover your strengths, & build a future with clarity & confidence. Every step forward, no matter how small, is progress—and you deserve that progress. If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to support you.
