Hi, I’m Leticia DeOliveira. I’m a Brazilian-American Licensed Mental Health Counselor licensed in Ma & Fl.
I work with teenagers, young adults, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, trauma, attachment wounds, infidelity, betrayal, low self esteem and relationship challenges. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure why they keep repeating the same dynamics in relationships. Together, we slow things down, build insight, and create real change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and sometimes even playful. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or overly clinical. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, while also exploring attachment styles and the impact of early experiences. I want clients to leave sessions not only feeling understood, but with tools they can actually use in their daily lives.
As someone who is Brazilian-American, I deeply value culture, identity, and lived experience. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and not judged. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boston University and my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College.
I offer in-person sessions at my office located at 1150 Walnut Street in Newton, MA (second floor), and virtual sessions for clients in Florida. I’m available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, direct when needed, and genuinely invested in your growth, I’d love to connect.
