Professional statement

Lexus is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois with experience in both the legal system and private practice. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate concerns such as anxiety, trauma, depression, mood disorders, and other challenges. With a particular interest in supporting those whose current struggles are rooted in childhood adversity, she understands how vital compassionate guidance can be in fostering healing and growth.

Her decision to pursue a career in counseling was shaped by witnessing the impact of mental health challenges and intergenerational trauma on families. She views therapy as both an opportunity for self-reflection and a pathway to lasting change. By working collaboratively with clients, Lexus aims to help break cycles of hardship and empower individuals to build greater peace and balance in their lives.

What Lexus values most about her work is creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences without judgment. She is honored to be trusted during times of transition, uncertainty, or distress. In her role as a therapist, she is committed to offering a space where clients feel truly seen and supported while identifying patterns that contribute to difficulties and working together toward healing in both mind and body.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but I want you to know that you don’t have to go through this process alone. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. In our work together, you’ll have the chance to slow down, reflect, and begin making sense of the challenges that brought you here.

I believe therapy is not only about addressing difficulties but also about uncovering your strengths and finding new ways to move forward. My hope is that through our sessions, you will feel encouraged, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. Together, we can work toward building the balance, peace, and resilience you deserve.

I provide virtual counseling through WellQor. If you’re interested in working with me, all you need to do is complete the “Get Started” form on the WellQor website. Once the form is submitted, a member of the front office team will reach out to guide you through the next steps and help schedule your first session with me.
