Professional statement

Lindsey is passionate about supporting teens and young adults through life’s challenges with warmth, presence, and care. She believes that therapy can be a grounding and transformative space—one where we slow down, tune in, and build inner trust.

Having previously worked as a school-based mental health specialist, Lindsey specializes in working with young people navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relationship stress, and life transitions. Her approach is relational, trauma-informed, and deeply compassionate. She strives to create a space where clients feel seen and accepted exactly as they are—while also gently encouraging growth, self-reflection, and healing.

Drawing from evidence-based practices like mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy, Lindsey can tailor her work to each individual’s unique strengths and needs.

Lindsey is available to see clients in-person at her office in Sherwood, or via telehealth.

Message to clients

Welcome, I'm glad you're here.

I’m Lindsey Brunken, a Professional Counseling Associate who supports people navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and life transitions. I offer a warm, mindful space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and rooted in compassion. I draw from CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, always centering your strengths. Therapy with me is not about fixing what’s “wrong”— it’s about reconnecting with what’s already whole and wise within you. My hope is to help you feel more resourced, more connected, and more empowered to live with clarity and joy.

If you're looking for a therapist who brings heart, humor, and presence to the room, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
