Something brought you here. Maybe you can name it clearly, and maybe you just know that something has been off for a long time.
Many of the people I work with are living with the long aftermath of trauma. They are not always pointing to a single event but to years of experiences that shaped how they see themselves, how they respond to stress, and why certain things hit harder than they should. Complex PTSD, childhood trauma, and relational wounds that go back further than they can easily trace are the experiences I know how to work with.
I work with adults at all stages of life navigating trauma, anxiety, and life transitions that have shaken their sense of self. Some of my clients are young adults stepping into their first real chapter. Others have been high-functioning for decades and are only now beginning to look beneath the surface. What they share is a readiness to do real work over time.
I am a licensed MHC in RI, MA, NY, FL, and CA, with over 14 years of clinical experience. I specialize in EMDR, an extensively researched therapy that helps the brain process what it has been unable to move through. I have worked with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, complex PTSD, single-incident trauma, first responders, and adults who found that talk therapy alone was not enough.
While EMDR is central to my work with trauma, I draw on a range of approaches, including CBT, solution-focused, and person-centered therapy, depending on what each client needs.
My approach is direct and warm. I will be honest with you about what I am seeing, and I work to understand your situation before offering anything. The goal is not symptom management. It is genuine, lasting change in how you feel, how you respond, and how you live.
