Lisbeth (she/they) is a licensed counselor and art therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. She works with adults who are ready to move beyond simply managing their symptoms, toward genuine, lasting relief and a more fulfilling life. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Lisbeth is deeply committed to offering an affirming, inclusive space where every client feels truly seen, honored, and safe to show up as their authentic self.
Lisbeth's approach draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, carefully tailored to what each person needs most. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, research-backed therapy that helps process and release the grip of traumatic memories. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) works to identify and shift the thought patterns that fuel anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. Art Therapy uses creative self-expression as a unique and powerful path to growth and healing, making it possible to understand and process emotions that words alone sometimes can't reach. Mindfulness practices help build present-moment awareness, reduce overwhelm, and cultivate a steadier, more grounded relationship with oneself. Together with each client, Lisbeth determines which combination of these approaches feels right, and that plan can evolve as the client does.
What makes Lisbeth's practice distinctive is the integration of creativity into the therapeutic process. No artistic skill or experience is required, just a willingness to explore. Many clients find that working creatively unlocks new insight and emotional breakthroughs that traditional talk therapy alone may not access.
Lisbeth works with individuals navigating life transitions, relationship stress, burnout, low self-esteem, and the compounding effects of living with mental health challenges. Whatever brings a client to therapy, Lisbeth believes healing is possible and within reach.
