Professional statement

Lulu Halbe is a Licensed Professional Counselor offering therapy in Colorado and Pennsylvania. She provides a safe, affirming space for individuals seeking emotional healing, self-discovery, and a deeper connection to their authentic selves. Her holistic approach addresses the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of well-being, helping clients reconnect with their inner compass and thrive.

Lulu works with adults navigating life transitions, healing from trauma, seeking greater self-awareness, or exploring a deeper sense of purpose. Many clients experience anxiety, self-doubt, or disconnection and are looking for healing that supports the whole self—mind, body, and spirit. She welcomes those from the LGBTQ community, individuals in non-traditional relationships (BDSM, polyamory, open), people deconstructing religious beliefs, as well as those with chronic illness or going through major life transitions (college, midlife, expanding families, etc).

Her integrative approach draws from modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) to resolve inner conflict, Somatic Experiencing to release trauma stored in the body, and Contemplative Counseling to foster mindfulness and emotional clarity.

Lulu’s practice is rooted in the understanding that healing is not just personal—it is also deeply shaped by cultural and societal influences. She incorporates feminist and social justice principles, recognizing the intersection of race, gender, sexuality, and class in each person’s experience. Her decolonizing approach ensures that clients feel seen and supported in their full identities.

Clients often describe feeling more grounded, resilient, and aligned with their values after working with Lulu. Through reconnecting with the body and inner self, they find greater clarity and purpose.

If you’re ready to begin your journey of healing and self-discovery, Lulu offers a free 15-minute consultation to explore whether her approach is the right fit for you.

Message to clients

II believe that every person has the innate capacity to heal and the divine right to live fully and authentically. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in connection. In our work together, I offer a space where your full story—including the cultural, familial, and societal influences that have shaped you—can be seen and honored.

Much of the pain we carry is rooted in systems that were never designed to support our wholeness. I'm committed to unlearning and disrupting these systems, both personally and in my work as a therapist. My practice is grounded in the belief that beneath our struggles is a deep well of wisdom, resilience, and goodness. Even in the most painful parts of your experience, something true and whole remains.

It’s a deep privilege to be invited into the sacred work of therapy. I’m here to walk alongside you—not as someone with all the answers, but as a guide who believes in your capacity to grow, heal, and return to yourself.
