Professional statement

Maegan Kenney, PhD, LPC, BCC is a Transpersonal Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Board Certified Coach who works with adults ages 28+. She specializes in supporting therapists, coaches, and other space-holders seeking thoughtful, specialized, and effective care.

Maegan offers two distinct therapeutic paths designed to meet different clinical needs. Her depth-oriented Jungian and transpersonal psychotherapy is a longer-term, relational approach for clients navigating profound inner terrain, including spiritual awakenings/ego deaths, identity shifts, non-ordinary states, psychedelic or ketamine experiences, near-death experiences, dreams, and unconscious patterns. This work emphasizes integration and meaning-making, helping clients engage symbolic material from the psyche. Her approach is rooted in heart consciousness and psychological containment.

She also offers the Compassionate Integration MethodTM (CIM), a structured, ART- and EMDR-informed short-term trauma therapy model she developed through years of clinical practice and research. CIM is designed for focused trauma resolution and symptom relief and is used to treat trauma and PTSD, shame-based memories, panic and anxiety disorders, codependency, burnout, OCD, depression, chronic pain, and other intense or persistent emotional states. This present-focused, goal-oriented approach emphasizes nervous system regulation, memory reconsolidation, and psychological stabilization, typically occurring over a brief series of sessions with clear structure and defined endpoints.

Maegan also offers trauma-informed age-regression hypnotherapy, integrating inner-child work with emotional and somatic reprocessing. Across all modalities, her work is trauma-informed, somatically grounded, and ethically contained, with careful attention to psychological safety, pacing, and collaboration.

Maegan provides remote therapy only to adults in Florida, Idaho, and South Carolina. She is a self-pay provider for transpersonal psychotherapy and offers superbills for reimbursement. Some insurance plans are accepted for CIM™ therapy for Florida residents. Availability is limited, with sessions offered Mondays and Tuesdays.

Message to clients

Welcome, and thank you for your message. I'm grateful you have reached out!

Please note, I work exclusively with clients who are therapists, coaches, or space-holders specifically seeking Transpersonal and/or Jungian psychotherapy, short-term trauma resolution therapy using the CIM™ method, or age-regression hypnotherapy. If this matches you, you are welcome to schedule a consultation call or reach out via the Zencare chat. If you have scheduled a consultation call, please be sure to follow up with a brief message about what brings you to therapy and the kind of therapy you are interested in.

If you are looking for general mental health support using a traditional clinical model, please revisit websites like Psychology Today, Zencare, and Therapy Den to find a provider who will be a better match.

During our initial consultation call, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and some of the things you'd like to work on. I'll also share a bit about my approach and what you can expect in our work together. If it feels like the right fit, we can then proceed with next steps.

Feel free to message me through Zencare with any questions you may have.

Thank you again for reaching out. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Be well,

Maegan
