Professional statement

Marc is a Licensed Professional Counselor who supports adults navigating anxiety and depression, major life transitions, healing from traumatic experiences, and making sense of complex family-of-origin dynamics. Marc is committed to helping clients find their own best way forward amid whatever challenges they are facing.

Marc’s therapeutic approach is deeply humanistic and person-centered. He believes that each person holds the answers to their own struggles and works to help clients build the confidence, clarity, and courage to move in a direction that feels right for them. While he draws from a range of clinical perspectives—including strengths-based approaches, mindfulness and meditation practices, and existential frameworks—Marc tailors his work to each individual, recognizing that no two people are the same.

In sessions, Marc offers a calming and grounding presence. He values knowing clients as whole people, not just through the symptoms they bring into the room, and encourages them to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of themselves as well. His goal is to build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship that helps clients feel secure, empowered, and supported in their growth.

Marc earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Miami University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Pomona College. As a career changer with a multicultural upbringing, Marc brings personal insight and empathy to the many different paths life can take.
