Professional statement

Mark works with queer and trans adults, and allies, who are exhausted from holding it all together. His clients are often high-functioning people who've done the work—or never needed therapy until now—but are finding themselves stuck in patterns of over-functioning, putting others first, and trying to outrun burnout. They're navigating a world that's actively hostile to their existence, and it's taking a toll. They want clarity, motivation, and genuine connection, but traditional therapy models that start from scratch every week and disappear between sessions aren't cutting it.

Mark's approach centers on Therapy, Daily, a subscription-based model that goes beyond the limitations of weekly therapy. Clients receive regular video sessions combined with daily check-ins and structured activities through a secure platform. This model addresses what Mark sees as a fundamental flaw in traditional therapy: most people don't need weekly sessions, but they do need consistent support when things actually happen—not just when their appointment rolls around. The work doesn't stop when the video call ends.

Mark specializes in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), both non-judgmental approaches that move at the client's pace. He's EMDR certified through the EMDR International Association and has over a decade of clinical experience focused on trauma recovery, identity work, and gender-affirming care. His background also includes significant IT and organizational experience, which informs his approach to building systems that actually support sustainable change.

Mark is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) holding licenses in Florida, Washington, Kentucky, and Oregon. All sessions are conducted via video telehealth, with current availability Sunday through Wednesday. He does not accept insurance, which allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and personalized care without the constraints of managed care systems. New clients begin with a free consultation to ensure the model is a good fit.

Message to clients

You don't need to explain your pronouns, your politics, or why you're pissed off about the state of the world. I get it. You're not here to be "processed" or to vent for 50 minutes a week while nothing actually changes. You're here because you're ready to do things differently and you need support that shows up when you actually need it—not just during your appointment slot.

Therapy, Daily is designed for people who are done with the traditional model. You get video sessions plus daily check-ins and activities built around your specific goals. No more waiting a week to process what happened. No more losing momentum between appointments. This is a space where you can stop pretending everything's fine and start moving toward what actually matters to you.

If you're ready to take up space and do the work with real, consistent support, let's talk. Schedule a free consultation and we'll figure out if this is the right fit.
