When is it time to make a change? Are you feeling lonely, anxious, sad, or quietly stuck despite doing “everything right”? Often, these experiences signal that something meaningful is shifting and that support could help.
Dr. Mary Collins works with thoughtful young adults and adults — including college students, graduate students, and professionals — who are navigating periods of transition, uncertainty, or internal strain. Many of her clients seek therapy around life transitions, anxiety, stress, sadness, or a growing sense that something needs to change, even when life appears outwardly stable. Her work is often a good fit for adults in transition — from early adulthood through midlife — including those balancing multiple roles, responsibilities, and competing demands.
Navigating change and the mix of emotions it brings is challenging enough; it does not have to be lonely. Therapy offers a collaborative, reflective space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and explore patterns that may no longer be serving you. Together, you’ll examine areas where you feel stuck, clarify goals and values, and develop more intentional ways of responding to life’s challenges.
Dr. Collins earned her Psy.D. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and spent ten years as the Training Director of a doctoral internship program while maintaining a private practice. Her clinical interests include mindfulness, supervision, and program development, with a longstanding focus on helping people navigate meaningful transitions.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and dogs, and exploring hiking trails.
Remote therapy sessions are available in multiple states.
