Maryann has over 30 years of extensive clinical experience, based on a straightforward psychotherapeutic approach where the goal is amelioration of symptoms, improving the quality of relationships and behavioral changes. Maryann deals with a variety of issues including grief/loss, anger management, depression/anxiety, trauma, alcohol/substance use and self-image issues. Maryann helps people work through difficult life adjustments in either brief or long-term psychotherapy. She is also fully trained in EMDR therapy.

Maryann has worked in an outpatient mental health setting dealing with chronically mentally ill and serious behavioral/relationship issues and substance abuse. Her last position there was as Director of Clinical Services and was responsible for the direct supervision of all staff. She has been in private practice for seven years and loves it!
