Professional statement

Matheus Tozzi welcomes his clients into a supportive space where they can feel understood and encouraged to make meaningful changes in their lives. The counselor works with individuals from all walks of life—both adolescents and adults—who may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger, or difficulties in relationships and family dynamics. Each client’s story is unique, and sessions are tailored to meet their specific needs and goals.

The counselor’s approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a practical and collaborative method that helps clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, clients learn strategies to manage overwhelming feelings, shift unhelpful patterns, and build a greater sense of confidence and balance. The work often focuses on helping clients feel more grounded, hopeful, and in control of their lives.

With years of experience in the mental health field, Matheus Tozzi has worked with a wide variety of clients across different settings, including community programs, juvenile detention, and private practice. This background allows for a flexible, compassionate approach that meets clients where they are and adapts to what works best for them.

Matheus Tozzi offers flexible scheduling to make therapy as accessible as possible. Virtual sessions are available on weekdays and weekends, with morning and afternoon appointments to fit busy lives. The practice is based in Texas, and telehealth services are available to clients throughout the region, providing a convenient and confidential way to connect from the comfort of home.

Message to clients

Before we get started, I want you to know that this is a space where you can be yourself. My goal is to create a place where you can talk openly and honestly, without fear of judgment. Life can be overwhelming at times, and therapy is meant to be a supportive space where you don’t have to go through it alone. My hope is that this becomes a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported as you work toward healing and growth.

We’ll spend time exploring what’s been feeling difficult — whether it’s anxiety, depression, anger, or challenges in your relationships or family. In our first session, we’ll take things at your pace, talk about what’s been going on, and start to create a plan together. My goal is to help you feel more grounded and hopeful, and to share tools that can help you feel more in control of your life, even when things feel uncertain.

I tailor every session to fit your unique needs and goals, because no two people are the same. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and a little more empowered to take the next step forward — whatever that looks like for you.
