In his approach to therapy, Dr. Diner values compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. He aims to create a safe and accepting environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions. By working together, he helps people deepen their self-understanding, find new perspectives, and move toward the changes they want to make in their lives.

Dr. Diner’s background includes years of experience as a therapist, as well as teaching and supervising other clinicians. He has taught social work at the City University of New York (CUNY), Fordham University, and Columbia School of Social Work. His advanced training in psychoanalytic therapy helps him listen deeply and support clients in exploring the roots of their struggles.

All sessions with Dr. Diner are held virtually, making it easier for clients to fit therapy into their lives, no matter where they are. He welcomes new clients to reach out, ask questions, and see if working together feels like a good fit.

Message to clients

Life is always changing, and sometimes those changes can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. It’s completely normal to experience a mix of emotions when facing difficult situations, and reaching out for support is a meaningful step toward finding clarity and relief.

In my virtual practice, my first priority is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. I believe that a trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth. Together, we’ll work to better understand your thoughts and feelings, explore what’s holding you back, and help you reconnect with yourself and the world around you.

My hope is that through our work together, you’ll discover new ways to cope, heal, and make choices that feel right for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’m here to support you as you navigate whatever challenges you’re facing, at your own pace and in your own way.
