Maya English specializes in supporting people who experience symptoms of depression and anxiety and can identify their strengths as they move through the challenges of life. She has worked with individuals and couples of all ages. Maya has experience providing trauma-informed care through a culturally sensitive lens to a diverse population. She is particularly passionate about working within the transracial adoptee community. She is available for telehealth and in-person sessions in Cumberland, RI.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker who works with individuals and couples. My clinical work is rooted in humanistic principles and integrates aspects of CBT, DBT and ACT. As an integrative therapist, my approach is tailored to each person I work with. You can expect to have an open and collaborative conversation about your needs and goals to feel successful in treatment and to feel you are growing into a stronger version of yourself.
