We are not just minds, just bodies, just hearts--we are all these things at once, so in my practice I enjoy incorporating a variety of therapeutic methods to reach a holistic solution. In each session, I blend my over 19 years of experience as a licensed social worker with my passion for fitness and health and interest in yoga and mindfulness techniques. My clients received supportive therapy in order to help them cope with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, or other life transitions.
I have worked with ages 6 years-old through 91 years-old. Over the years, I have worked for outpatient clinics in a primary care and integrated behavioral healthcare clinic, schools, nonprofits, supervised social work students and also post graduate social workers. I have strong passion for not only people but pets and animals. I offer services to help cope with a pet's health issues/death, as well as offer services for veterinarians and staff to help them cope and help their patients cope with grief.
My passion is to help others reach their goals and to feel successful. I am always my clients' advocate--and that includes helping them feel empowered to advocate for themselves.
My clients have told me that they feel comfortable disclosing their feelings to me because of my empathetic tone and demeanor grounded in skills they can use in the real world.
