Trauma-Informed Therapy for PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression in Adults

Living with trauma, anxiety, or depression can feel deeply painful and overwhelming. I specialize in helping adults work toward recovery from PTSD and trauma‑related distress, as well as anxiety and depression. I use evidence‑based therapies, including CPT, CBT, and DBT‑informed skills building, to support your recovery.

Meaningful change is possible when therapy compassionately addresses patterns such as unwanted thoughts, self‑blame, feeling on edge, and emotions like shame, guilt, fear, or hopelessness. Facing these difficulties is challenging, and it is natural to want to avoid painful emotions or memories. Avoidance can take many forms and is often an attempt to reduce distress, even though it can unintentionally keep you feeling stuck.

Many people reach out when they begin to wonder whether there might be another way forward. Together, we will pace therapy in a way that supports your agency as you move forward.

This has been made into the new Federal "No Surprises Act" law starting January 1, 2022. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider, in writing, for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. Please visit the CMS No Surprises Act website or contact me for more information.
