Micah Saviet (he/him) is a clinical social worker and is certified in both Brainspotting and Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping), providing online therapy for adults in Maryland and Virginia. He specializes in supporting neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD, as well as individuals navigating the lasting impact of trauma and chronic illness. Many of Micah’s clients come in feeling stuck after years of trying other therapies without the relief they hoped for, or struggling with cycles of self-criticism, shame, anxiety, and exhaustion. He is especially passionate about helping clients reconnect with their authentic selves and find hope in their innate capacity to heal.
Micah’s therapeutic approach is holistic trauma-focused. He draws from Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping), Energy Psychology, and Parts Work, blending these evidence-based and body-focused modalities to support deep transformation. In session, clients are guided to gently process unresolved experiences held in the nervous system, release self-defeating beliefs, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others. This approach empowers clients to move beyond coping and symptom management toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.
Micah’s style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. He views clients as the experts in their own experience and works as a co-pilot in their healing journey. When beginning with new clients, he focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental space and developing a personalized treatment plan that honors each individual’s goals, pace, and values.
Micah earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and has advanced training in Brainspotting and somatic therapies. Outside of private practice, he is dedicated to researching, writing, and developing resources that expand access to integrative trauma treatment and ADHD-informed care.
