Professional statement

Morgan Fleming is a marriage and family therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, and major life transitions. She specializes in supporting individuals who feel stuck in patterns of self-doubt, disconnection, or overwhelm—especially those who have spent much of their lives doing what’s expected of them, only to find themselves feeling unfulfilled or lost. Many of her clients are creatives, deep thinkers, or highly sensitive people seeking clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of self.

Morgan’s therapeutic approach blends depth-oriented insight with practical tools for nervous system regulation and emotional integration. She draws from Somatic EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices, tailoring her work to each client’s unique needs. With a grounded and compassionate presence, Morgan helps clients access inner parts that may have been silenced, reconnect with their bodies, and move toward lasting change. She brings particular care to working with complex trauma, attachment wounds, and identity exploration.

Her background includes graduate study in depth psychology, as well as advanced training in somatic therapy, EMDR, and neurodivergent-affirming care. Before entering the mental health field, Morgan spent two decades in the fashion and beauty industry in New York City—an experience that informs her understanding of cultural pressures around identity, perfectionism, and belonging.

Morgan is based in California, and offers remote therapy sessions. She works with clients across California and welcomes individuals from all backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ clients, Neurodivergent individuals, artists, and those navigating late-in-life transitions. Her office is a supportive space for reflection, creativity, and authentic connection.

Message to clients

Before we begin, I want you to know that therapy with me is not about fixing what's "wrong" with you—it's about creating space to reconnect with the parts of you that have been overlooked, silenced, or pushed aside. I believe healing happens in relationship: with ourselves, with others, and with the stories we carry. My hope is to offer a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported as you move toward greater clarity, self-trust, and wholeness.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. You don’t have to explain away your pain or make it sound more acceptable. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, past trauma, a relationship rupture, or just feeling lost in the midst of a life transition, I’ll meet you with warmth, curiosity, and care. We'll move at a pace that feels safe for your body and your story.

I honor the courage it takes to reach out for support. My intention is to help you feel more grounded in who you are, more connected in your relationships, and more at ease in your life. If you're ready to begin, I'm here to walk alongside you.
