Professional statement

-Creates a safe, affirming space for healing and growth

-Tailors therapy to each person with warmth, empathy, and insight

-Supports clients through anxiety, life changes, relationships, and identity exploration

Nico is a grounded and compassionate mental health counselor who believes healing begins in a space of trust, empathy, and authenticity. He works collaboratively with each client to help them reconnect with their inner strength, navigate emotional challenges, and build a life aligned with their values.

Drawing from a range of modalities — including Person-Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, Psychoeducation, and Mindfulness — Nico adapts his approach to honor each person’s lived experience. His goal is to ensure clients not only feel seen and heard, but also rediscover the inner resilience that can guide lasting change.

As a therapist with a Latino and LGBTQIA+ background, Nico affirms and celebrates all identities, creating an inclusive environment for BIPOC and queer communities. He is especially attuned to the intersection of identity, emotional wellbeing, and social context in his work.

Nico holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He believes that while the past shapes us, it does not define us — and with support and self-awareness, we all have the capacity to grow into who we’re meant to become.

Message to clients

Hi, I’m Nico. I believe healing begins in a space where you feel truly accepted, respected, and understood. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment rooted in trust and authenticity—one where you can show up exactly as you are, without pressure to perform or have everything figured out. Therapy with me is collaborative and relational, and I see our work together as a partnership grounded in curiosity, compassion, and care.

I support clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and emotional overwhelm. My approach draws from person-centered, psychodynamic, interpersonal, CBT, and mindfulness-based therapies, allowing sessions to be flexible and responsive to your needs. Together, we explore patterns, emotions, and experiences in a way that helps you build insight while also developing practical tools for daily life.

As a therapist with a Latino and LGBTQIA+ background, I am deeply committed to providing affirming and inclusive care. I strive to honor each client’s lived experience, especially those from BIPOC and queer communities. I believe growth happens when you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to take meaningful steps forward. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
