Professional statement

Taking the first step toward therapy takes real courage, and if you’re reading this, you’ve already shown that courage. Maybe you’re exhausted from managing anxiety or depression on your own. Maybe past trauma is quietly shaping your present in ways you can’t quite shake. Maybe substances became a way to cope, and now you’re ready for something different. Wherever you’re starting from, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I come to this work personally. As a person in recovery myself, I know firsthand what it means to struggle, and what it means to have a therapist who genuinely believes in your capacity to heal. That experience changed the direction of my life, and it’s the reason I’ve dedicated the past 14 years to doing this work. My approach is collaborative and curious.

I don’t hand you a script, I work alongside you to understand what’s keeping you stuck and help you build something better. Using CBT, EFT, EMDR and DBT, we’ll look at the patterns driving your anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles and develop practical tools to shift them. For trauma, we go at your pace. If any of this resonates, please reach out!
