Nick Reilly works with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, men’s mental health concerns, substance use, chronic illness, and relationship or performance challenges. Many of his clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward, and are looking for both clarity and practical strategies to create meaningful change.
Nick takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring each session to the individual. He integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Gestalt techniques to help clients build self-awareness, stay grounded in the present, and develop tools they can apply in everyday life. His style is approachable, supportive, and focused on helping clients move toward what matters most to them.
He is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Disaster Response Crisis Counselor (DRCC). Nick earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University and has experience across intensive outpatient programs, private practice, and community-based settings. He also has a specialization in relationship counseling and contributes to research exploring innovative approaches, including the use of gaming in therapeutic work.
Nick offers both in-person and virtual sessions through Exceptional Wellness Counseling, with offices in Manalapan and Shrewsbury, New Jersey. He works with clients across the state via telehealth and offers flexible scheduling options to support accessibility and consistency in care.
