Professional statement

Nicole welcomes clients who are seeking to create change in their lives through becoming aware of how their life experiences are influencing their current interpretation of the world around them and using this insight to create a new story for themselves.

Many of Nicole’s clients present with self-doubt, shame, experiences of depression, complex traumatic experiences, anxiety, and difficulties in relationships with themselves or others. Nicole works collaboratively with her clients to help them heal from the ways that their pasts show up in their current reality, so they can move on to live empowered and mindful lives.

Nicole has a very eclectic therapeutic approach but focuses on the mind-body connection. Nicole knows that we experience our emotions, beliefs, etc., physically as well as mentally, and works with her clients to release and heal the ways that experiences are stored in their nervous systems. She draws from her training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy to help clients create more resiliency and feel safe and confident within their systems.

Nicole’s first priority in starting with a new client is ensuring that they feel safe, heard, and like they are co-creating their therapeutic journey. Nicole values what each unique client brings to the table and enjoys utilizing client’s strengths and likes to facilitate sessions.

Message to clients

I believe that therapy is a chance for each of us to "un-become," that is, to explore how our collective life experiences have shaped us in both healthy and unhealthy ways and to shed any identities that no longer fit us and hold us back from living a mindful and empowered life.

When I work with clients I like to walk step-by-step with you on your journey, providing a safe connection where you can truly be yourself, free of judgement. I hope to create a space where you can grow to be the healthiest, happiest, and most joyful version of yourself.

While I have openings for new clients, please know I don't have any evening appointments. Additionally, KAP is only available in select states.
