Professional statement

Olivia works with individuals who feel things deeply and may feel stuck in anxiety, self-doubt, grief, or recurring relational patterns. She supports clients navigating social anxiety, relationship anxiety, perfectionism, and obsessive-compulsive tendencies, as well as those feeling depressed or uncertain about how to create a more fulfilling life. Olivia is especially attuned to clients who notice that old patterns continue to show up in new relationships and want support understanding and changing those dynamics.

Olivia approaches therapy as a collaborative and relational process. She shows up as a warm, grounded, and authentic presence while also offering thoughtful reflection and direct, curious questioning. Her style is affirming and open-ended, creating a space where clients can explore emotions, beliefs, and patterns with compassion. Together, Olivia and her clients work to understand coping strategies that once served a purpose but may now feel limiting, opening the door to greater clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.

At the heart of Olivia’s work is a belief in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. She is particularly interested in how early family dynamics and attachment experiences shape present-day emotional and relational responses. By exploring these foundational patterns within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, clients are supported in developing greater self-awareness and more intentional, fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and others.

Olivia sees clients in person at her office near Grand Central and offers virtual therapy to individuals located throughout New York State. She accepts Aetna insurance, offers sliding-scale options when available, and provides superbills for out-of-network plans. Sessions are available on weekdays and select evenings.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely okay to have questions, nerves, or mixed emotions along the way. My hope is that our work together feels like a place where you can show up just as you are—without needing to have everything figured out. You don’t need the “right” words or a clear plan; we’ll take things at your pace and figure it out together.

I value honesty, curiosity, and openness in the therapy space. I work best with clients who are willing to reflect on their inner world and gently apply what we explore in session to their lives outside of therapy. Our relationship will be collaborative and supportive, and at times I may offer direct reflections or questions meant to help us go a little deeper. My intention is always to meet you with warmth and care, even when we’re exploring difficult or uncomfortable emotions.

Above all, my hope for you is that therapy helps you feel more connected to yourself, more grounded in your relationships, and more aligned with the life you want to live. If you’re curious about working together, I’d be glad to connect and see whether it feels like the right fit.
