Olivia is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who provides compassionate, developmentally attuned care to children as young as five, adolescents, and adults. She supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, prenatal and postpartum concerns, behavioral challenges, stress, and life transitions. No matter the age or presenting issue, Olivia creates a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
Her therapeutic style is holistic, integrative, and rooted in a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. Olivia draws from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic approaches to support emotional processing, regulation, and healing. As a 500-hour certified yoga instructor, she often incorporates gentle movement, breathwork, and body awareness techniques into sessions when appropriate. Whether she’s helping a young child regulate big emotions, guiding a teen in building coping skills, or supporting an adult through trauma recovery, Olivia blends evidence-based interventions with calm, compassionate presence.
Olivia has over three years of clinical experience in outpatient settings, working with diverse individuals across all stages of life. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montclair State University. Her yoga background—which includes additional training in Sand Play Therapy, Yin Yoga, and Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga—enhances her ability to integrate somatic and experiential elements into therapy. She has also spent six years teaching yoga to children, teens, and adults, deepening her understanding of how movement, breath, and mindfulness can support emotional wellness.
Olivia offers both in-person sessions at Exceptional Wellness Counseling and virtual appointments for clients seeking flexibility and telehealth accessibility. Outside the therapy room, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and golden retriever, practicing yoga, taking Pilates classes, and relaxing at the beach.
