Dr. Patricia Bresky is a psychologist and life coach. She works remotely work with clients in Rhode Island. Most of her clients have demanding schedules and appreciate the flexibility and convenience of doing sessions from home or work. Dr. Bresky works with clients of different ethnicities, gender identities, ages (college age to elderly adult), and cultures. Most of her clients come to therapy for help with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism or grief. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Bresky serves as clinical faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at Brown University where she teaches psychotherapy to psychiatrists in training. .
Dr. Bresky uses a wide range of therapy modalities in working with clients, including psychodynamic, client-centered, self-compassion, and humanistic psychotherapy. Dr. Bresky earned her PhD from the Union Institute. She has certification in advanced psychoanalytic psychotherapy by the Boston Psychoanalytic Institute. In addition, she is certified in professional life-coaching by the International Coaching Federation. With 27 years of experience as a psychotherapist and life coach, Dr. Bresky provides the trust and empathy that promote growth and healing in her clients. Her approach is interactive, down-to-earth and warm. She is engaged and genuine in a way that allows clients to feel safe in being their real selves.
