Quinn Wright is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker located in Rhode Island serving individual clients via telehealth in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Quinn enjoys working with young adults and adults, who experience anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, dual diagnosis, difficulty with life transitions and trauma. Utilizing CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), an evidence based practice, Quinn helps clients understand how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected and how to implement skills to improve confidence, self trust and life satisfaction. As well, Quinn specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is effective in helping clients understand the impact of trauma on one's perception of self and the world around them as well as how their body and brain responds to trauma and triggers. Quinn has provided therapy for 8 years and prior to worked in the community with families and the elderly, at an Adult Partial Hospitalization Program as well as Emergency Room settings.
