Professional statement

Does your relationship feel tense, unpredictable, or harder than it should be?

You try to show up the right way, but things still go sideways. You care deeply and put in the effort, yet it doesn’t seem to land. Maybe you’ve started to wonder whether the issue is your partner—or something in how you’re showing up.

This is where I focus my work. I help clients step out of patterns of conflict, codependency, people-pleasing, enmeshment, and disconnection. You’ll learn assertive communication, how to set boundaries that hold, how to manage your anger, and how to stop sacrificing more than you can sustain.

Of course, not all struggles are relational. Many clients come in feeling stuck in their own heads—dealing with anxiety, addictions, burnout, low motivation, or habits that have gotten out of control. Others are navigating major transitions in career, identity, or family life and feel overwhelmed by the pressure.

I work with people who want real change: less overthinking, more control over their reactions, and a greater sense of balance and direction.

My approach is direct, practical, and collaborative. We won’t stay stuck analyzing the past. Instead, we’ll focus on what’s happening now and what needs to change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and 12-step principles to create a plan that fits you.

If you’re ready to take ownership of what’s not working and build something better, therapy can help you reconnect—with yourself and with the life you want to lead.

About Me: Call me Randy. I'm a former educator turned counselor with over a decade's worth of experience in the field. I've worked in hospitals, correctional facilities, drug rehabs, group practices and have been a solo practitioner since March of 2023. I see clients in both North and South Carolina.

Message to clients

If we work together, you can expect honesty, support, and accountability. I’m not here to simply listen and nod—I’m here to help you own your life and make meaningful changes. We’ll work side by side to identify what’s keeping you stuck, challenge patterns that no longer serve you, and build something more effective in their place.

As you begin to apply what we work on, you may notice:

• Healthier, more stable relationships

• Less anxiety and emotional overstimulation

• Greater focus, energy, and direction

• A stronger sense of confidence and purpose

This process requires effort, but it’s practical, focused, and designed to create real, lasting results.

Interested? Here are the next steps: Reach out to me and give me to schedule a FREE 20 minute video consultation. This gives us a chance to connect, ask questions, and make sure the fit feels right for both of us before you commit to the process. If it feels right to you, we can move forward with scheduling and intake paperwork. I look forward to meeting with you!
