Raven is particularly skilled working with creative, open-minded, professional women and non-binary folks in the fields of the arts, marketing, research, and medicine. Using an Integrative Therapy approach, Raven invites clients to care for themselves and become their own advocates through self-awareness, a menu of self-care practices, and re-parenting the self. Raven's Integrative Therapy approach combines: somatic, expressive arts, and talk therapies, mindfulness, parts work, and practice tools to regulate emotions and soothe the nervous system.
Raven is a neurodiverse friendly, LGBTQ+ affirming, BIPOC affirmative, Feminist therapist. She assists her clients in becoming free of anxiety, inner critic, perfectionism, depression, grief, work stress, career change, breakups, relationship conflict, parental conflict, death of a loved one, and evolving identity. Taking a collaborative approach and going beyond symptom management, Raven supports clients in waking up to their authenticity, accessing the power of their inner mind, and taking brave steps in their personal and professional life.
Raven's experience shows a consistent and patient approach to healing is best. Some highlights of her extensive training include an MA in Counseling Psychology, Certification in Expressive Arts, and training in trauma processing & resolution (EMDR & Trauma Resiliency Model). She has worked in hospice, residential treatment centers, community mental health, theater and film. She currently sees clients in-person in the San Francisco Bay Area and online throughout California.
