Rebecca is an LCSW with over 25 years of experience. Her career began with a focus as a medical social worker, working with populations within the HIV/AIDS, LGBTQIA+ communities. After achieving her Masters in Social Work, she spent over 13 years supporting families in hospice and palliative care. She has spent most of her career working in the homes and communities of her patients and clients, developing unique expertise and perspectives on providing support and guidance to others in need. Rebecca uses a compassion focused, strengths based and individualized approach with clients, with a strong foundation in relational therapy practices. She is dedicated to helping clients seeking depth oriented, mind/body based therapy and a safe environment to explore the concerns and needs that arise during stressful and overwhelming times in life. Rebecca's focus is on meeting clients where they are at, guiding them on their path to deepen insight, self knowledge and connection, and building strength from within.

She has a wide range of experience and expertise in complex family systems, complex/attachment/betrayal trauma, neurobiology and nervous system connections to stress/threat responses, self compassion, mind/body connections, polyvagal systems, and learning to establishing safety within yourself, possibly for the first time. Message to clients

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to take care of yourself and look for the support you need - this is a big step. Looking for a therapist can be a daunting task and I hope you can take a deep breath and appreciate getting yourself this far.

My name is Rebecca and I provide therapy services to individuals who are needing support with their mental and emotional health/wellbeing. This can look like a lot of different things, and in many ways it can feel very difficult and overwhelming to try and manage every day life with high stress, big strong emotions/feelings/sensations, and our own personal history of loss/grief, traumas, and challenges with relationships/health/family/work/other areas of our life.

I enjoy working with diverse individuals seeking to learn and understand more about their mental health and emotional wellbeing. Many of the people I work with experience very difficult symptoms of anxiety, depression; have chronic health issues, relationship challenges, extremely high stress, continuous impacts of past and present trauma in their day to day lives, and are seeking change. I focus on getting to know the individual person, exploring their own personal experiences and strengths as well as the struggles they are encountering to establish personalized intentions and goals that lead to transformative healing and growth.

I appreciate you being here and I look forward to connecting with you soon!
