Rena Maus is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She welcomes young adult, and adult women who are seeking to make peace with startling past emotions or memories. Therapy sessions with Rena Maus bring both clarity and understanding that surround life’s questions. She explores clients’ stories to investigate the root cause, and gradually challenges to old patterns to bring about a new awareness in their day-to-day dilemmas. She uses a base of mindful approaches of breathing and grounding along with an integrated approach to how routines affect memory, sleep, and energy levels for balance. She guides with meditation and relaxation practices, to help clients be in the here and now.
Having begun as a fitness trainer, she has her roots in serving people with their goals. She has sense gained degrees in psychology and theology and obtained external certifications in Functional Medicine and Integrated Health for a fuller understanding of the human experience. She interned with a clinical team at an injury clinic that focused on recovery for injured. She is skilled at working with those experiencing a struggle at finding a physical and emotional balance. She brings an awareness of the body’s ability to heal and the mind-body connection. She provides a safe space to unpack and process undesirable thoughts, feelings and pains to find contentment in self.
