Message to clients

Hi, I’m Ridhima, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and a nationally certified counselor through the NBCC. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients, especially those from underrepresented communities, can feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing.

My approach is collaborative and evidence-based, blending CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, ACT, and EFT. I tailor each session to your goals, helping you build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and grow into your most authentic self. I believe in meeting clients where they are and using therapy as a space to foster voice, insight, and lasting change.

I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester and a Certification in Positive Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill. I began my career as a master-level clinician in India and am passionate about challenging stigma and expanding access to care. Outside therapy, I enjoy global cooking and time with my pup, Jade, my “lucky little ball of love.”
