Professional statement

I specialize in working with teens and young adults who are navigating anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected — and together, we work to help them regain balance, build insight, and strengthen emotional resilience. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel genuinely heard, validated, and understood as they explore the challenges and goals most meaningful to them.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions, I tailor sessions to meet each client’s unique needs and strengths. My focus is on helping clients build practical coping tools while also deepening self-awareness, improving communication, and fostering lasting emotional growth.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience supporting adolescents and young adults in both individual and family settings. My background includes work in both inpatient and outpatient mental health, school-based programs, and community care, giving me a broad understanding of the challenges young people face in today’s world. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate periods of change — whether it’s adjusting to college life, building independence, or managing relationships — with confidence and clarity.

My practice is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and I currently offer telehealth sessions to accommodate individual needs. I provide flexible scheduling options, including evening availability, to support busy students and young professionals. Whether you’re seeking support for the first time or continuing your mental health journey, I aim to meet you where you are and help you move forward with purpose and self-compassion.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel both exciting and intimidating, and I want you to know that wherever you are in your process, you are welcome here. My hope is that this space feels like one where you can be yourself—without pressure, without judgment, and without having to have everything figured out. We’ll take things at your pace, and I’ll meet you where you are as we work together to make sense of what’s been feeling heavy or unclear.

I believe that growth happens through connection, honesty, and curiosity. In our work together, I’ll encourage you to explore patterns, emotions, and parts of yourself that may be difficult to face, but I’ll always do so with warmth, understanding, and respect. My goal is to help you build self-trust and develop tools that support you long after our sessions end.

Therapy is not about being “fixed”—it’s about finding new ways to understand yourself, to heal, and to move forward with confidence and compassion. I’m grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you as you take this step toward change and growth.
