Sabrina is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who works with teens and adults navigating a range of emotional and life challenges. She frequently supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulties with self-esteem and self-worth, and significant life transitions. Sabrina is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves while building the tools and confidence needed to move through challenges and create meaningful change in their lives.
Her approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths-based, with a strong emphasis on meeting clients where they are. Sabrina believes that each individual brings unique strengths and experiences into the therapy process, and she works collaboratively with clients to identify those strengths while developing practical coping strategies. She strives to create a supportive, inclusive space where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and goals at their own pace.
Sabrina integrates several evidence-based approaches into her work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based practices, and person-centered therapy. She views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and believes that clients are the experts in their own lives. Through collaboration, curiosity, and mutual respect, Sabrina helps clients gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the changes they want to see in their lives.
Sabrina earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University and has experience working in adult partial care programs as well as community-based mental health settings. These experiences have given her the opportunity to support individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of clinical needs.
Sabrina provides therapy for teens and adults and offers sessions both in person and virtually through Exceptional Wellness Counseling’s New Jersey offices, allowing clients flexibility and accessibility in receiving care. Outside of her clinical work, Sabrina enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, trying new recipes, and exploring new places.
