Dr. Samantha Mahr is a licensed clinical psychologist in full-time private practice in New York. She offers remote therapy to individuals located anywhere in New York State, as well as in-person sessions in New York City and an office in Westchester. She works with adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, and the emotional shifts that often arise during pregnancy and early parenthood.
Her approach to therapy is insight-oriented and relational, grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thinking. Dr. Mahr is a candidate in psychoanalytic training at the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis and has completed specialized training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PSI).
