Dr. Samantha Sherwood is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist located in Las Vegas, Nevada and licensed to provide telehealth services in all 42 PSYPACT states. She specializes in providing evidence-based therapy for children, teens, and young adults (up to age 24) to help navigate the unique emotional challenges of growing up, such as anxiety, mood disorders, sleep problems, school stress, or behavioral concerns such as ADHD. Dr. Sherwood also has specialized training in Pediatric Health Psychology to help kids manage chronic illness or other medical conditions that may affect emotional well-being, such as diabetes, cystic fibrosis, and lupus.

Dr. Sherwood aims to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients and families feel understood and supported. She provides evidence-based treatment that is tailored to each client’s developmental needs and family context. Message to clients

Before we start working together, I want you to know that my goal is to create a space where you and your child feel comfortable, supported, and truly understood. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together explore life's challenges with curiosity and compassion, rather than judgment. Every child has their own way of expressing themselves, and I try to meet them where they are to help them open up and grow at their own pace.

My hope is that our sessions bring both relief and hope, that you’ll see your child begin to feel more confident, calm, and capable, and that you as a parent will feel more supported and less alone in this process. Change takes time, but together we’ll build on your child’s strengths and your family’s resilience, creating lasting tools for a happier, more balanced life.
