Professional statement

Dr. Casen specializes in helping those in their 20s and 30s find their path forward. Whether you are a college/graduate student, a recent graduate, or a young professional, she can help with navigating life transitions, mastering career and relationship decisions, and cultivating healthy relationships. Dr. Casen's clients are typically looking for clarity and confidence in their personal and professional lives, including improving relationship dynamics, managing stress, increasing self-awareness, healing from breakups, and strengthening time management/organization. The journey through your 20s and 30s can be exhilarating, but also often confusing and challenging. Therapy with Dr. Casen aims to address specific areas that are often sources of stress and anxiety during this life stage.

Many of Dr. Casen's clients have goals around building careers in tech, academia, law, and entertainment, and she is familiar with the excitement, and the challenges, of working in these fields. Clients often seek help in combatting impostor syndrome, finding a healthy work-life balance, optimizing productivity, and reducing workplace anxiety. Additionally, Dr. Casen often works with clients on effectively navigating dating experiences, building communication skills, understanding relationship patterns that may be getting in the way of fostering genuine and healthy connection, as well as processing grief and anger around break-ups. Other areas of focus include working toward better management of social anxiety, strengthening platonic relationships, setting healthy boundaries with family members, and management of adult ADHD symptoms.

Dr. Casen's approach is warm, practical, collaborative and compassionate, with an emphasis on the development of skills, an actionable plan, and insight, in the areas that matter most to her clients. Dr. Casen aims to build upon strengths, helping to create the change clients would like to see in their lives in a sensitive and productive manner.

Message to clients

It is a privilege to be invited to accompany my clients on their therapy journey!

I offer in-person sessions in my West Los Angeles office (just outside of Beverly Hills), as well as via telehealth throughout California and New York. As I am licensed in both California and New York, I am able to provide uninterrupted therapy for those who travel frequently between these two locations.

I invite you to please explore this profile, as well as my website, and reach out with any questions, or to set up an initial complimentary phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit. I look forward to speaking with you about how I may be able to help you achieve your goals!
