Professional statement

Stacey Cohen, MA, LPC, is the founder of The Center for Soulful Presence, a psychotherapy and coaching practice providing online therapy throughout Georgia. She specializes in working with neurodivergent adults, including ADHD, autism, AuDHD profiles, and late identified individuals. Her practice is affirming of empaths, Highly Sensitive Persons, LGBTQ clients, creatives, and spiritually oriented adults seeking clarity, regulation, and authentic self expression.

With over twenty years of experience, Stacey helps clients navigate anxiety, burnout, sensory overwhelm, executive functioning challenges, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship stress, and identity development. She frequently works with adult children of alcoholics, individuals in recovery communities, and clients experiencing compassion fatigue or creative blocks. Her work supports both emotional insight and practical daily functioning, helping clients build focus, self trust, and sustainable routines.

Stacey integrates person centered and solution focused therapy with Internal Family Systems, somatic and polyvagal informed practices, mindfulness, and expressive arts. She approaches ADHD and autism through a neurotype and nervous system lens rather than a deficit based model, emphasizing strengths, regulation, and real world strategies.

All sessions are conducted through a secure telehealth platform, making therapy accessible statewide in Georgia. Appointments are available weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Stacey is also expanding licensure to Florida and offers online groups and occasional retreats for highly sensitive and neurodivergent adults seeking deeper growth and integration.

Message to clients

My life’s work is rooted in a devotion to personal growth, creativity, spirituality, and holistic wellness. I bring this into our work together by weaving traditional psychotherapy and coaching with expressive arts, somatic awareness, EFT tapping, mindfulness, and mind body integration. My approach is informed by Humanistic and Transpersonal psychology, Internal Family Systems, and Polyvagal Theory, supporting both profound emotional healing and nervous system regulation.

A central focus of my practice is empowering neurodivergent empaths and highly sensitive adults who experience the world with heightened perception and non linear ways of thinking and being. I offer grounded, real world tools for navigating sensory overwhelm, emotional intensity, executive dysfunction, and burnout. This includes support with prioritizing tasks, managing time and energy, creating structure without rigidity, and building systems that work in harmony with your nervous system rather than against it.

I believe each person carries an innate wisdom and a deep capacity for transformation. Much of our work centers on creating the safety necessary to access that inner knowing and learning to honor your needs without guilt, self abandonment, or depletion. My intention is to help you reconnect with your natural strengths, feel resourced in your body, and cultivate a life that feels aligned, creative, and sustainable.

Beyond individual sessions, The Center for Soulful Presence offers online empowerment groups and experiential community gatherings that integrate sound healing, expressive arts, and embodied practice. Healing is amplified in intentional community, where compassion, presence, and shared exploration open the door to meaningful transformation.
