Dr. Stephanie Baron is a Clinical Psychologist whose office is right outside Century City. She sees children, adults, and older adults. Many of Dr. Baron's clients come to see her to address trauma, anxiety and depression. She is skilled in working with Complex PTSD, grief, loss, attachment disorders, and childhood trauma.
Dr. Baron is trained in EMDR, IFS, and CBT. She conducts her initial session with a trauma lens and designs a treatment plan with her client to discover the source of the trauma. This gives her the ability to hone in on the problems quickly and engage in treatment right away. She looks for irrational beliefs and cognitive distortions as well as issues that have become problematic in life. Her goal is to change the client's neural networks and create a more positive and healthy way of living life without trauma.
Dr. Baron creates a safe place to engage in therapy with a warm, gentle, and nonjudgemental environment. She also gives her clients tools to work with on their own both while in therapy and after therapy has been completed. Her goal is to treat clients thoroughly and effectively in a short period of time.
Dr. Baron received her Ph.D. from the California Graduate Institute, now the Chicago School of Psychology.
She does both in person therapy and online therapy.
