Professional statement

Tesia is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including private practice and mobile crisis intervention work. She primarily works with women and female identifying individuals from pre teen years through adulthood who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and emotional stress. Tesia is passionate about helping clients feel more grounded, supported, and empowered during difficult seasons of life.

Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and judgment free. Tesia believes that most people are doing the best they can with the tools they currently have, and therapy can provide the support and skills needed to create lasting change. She helps clients better understand their emotional patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with the version of themselves they want to become.

Inspired by her own personal experiences with anxiety and depression, Tesia understands the importance of feeling truly seen and supported in therapy. Her goal is to create a safe and open space where clients feel respected, comfortable, and encouraged as they navigate life’s challenges and personal growth.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you are used to carrying everything on your own. My hope is that our sessions become a space where you feel safe, supported, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy, and there is no pressure to be perfect in the process.

I believe healing happens through connection, understanding, and learning new ways to care for yourself during difficult moments. Together, we will work to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building tools that help you feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. I see therapy as a collaborative process where you remain in the driver’s seat while I help guide and support you along the way.

My goal is to help you feel empowered, capable, and more connected to the version of yourself you want to become. I feel honored to walk alongside my clients during both the difficult and meaningful parts of their journey, and I strive to create a judgment free environment where growth and healing can happen at your own pace.
