Professional statement

Vanessa Ffrench is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with women seeking deeper, more meaningful change in their lives and relationships. Many of her clients are insightful and self-aware, yet find themselves repeating familiar patterns, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected despite their efforts to grow. Vanessa provides a space that is both grounding and attuned, where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and begin to shift what no longer serves them.

Her approach is rooted in embodied therapy, integrating mindfulness, nervous system awareness, and depth-oriented exploration. Rather than focusing on insight alone, Vanessa helps clients access and understand their lived, internal experience: bringing attention to the body, emotions, and unconscious patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others. Through this process, clients develop greater awareness, self-compassion, and the capacity for more aligned, intentional living.

Vanessa’s work is informed by her background in psychotherapy as well as her experience as a yoga and meditation teacher. This integration allows her to support clients in a way that bridges mind and body, offering both practical tools and deeper relational work. Her style is collaborative, intuitive, and steady, creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported while also gently challenged toward growth.

She offers therapy to clients throughout California via telehealth, making it easy to access support from the comfort of home. Vanessa works with adults and primarily focuses on women navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, and patterns rooted in earlier experiences.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to holding a lot on your own. In our work together, you don’t have to perform, push through, or have everything figured out. This is a space where you can slow down, tune into yourself, and begin to understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

I approach therapy in a way that is both grounded and deeply attuned, supporting you in connecting with your body, your emotions, and the patterns that shape your relationships and daily life. Over time, this work allows for meaningful, lasting shifts so you can feel more steady, more connected, and more aligned in how you move through the world.

All you need to begin is a willingness to show up as you are.
