Professional statement

The journey toward transition and gender euphoria can feel overwhelming, with barriers that may seem difficult to navigate alone. Victoria believes individuals have the power to create meaning and fulfillment by exploring the steps necessary to align with their authentic identity. She provides guidance and support throughout this journey by helping clients alleviate gender-related distress, build resilience, strengthen social supports, navigate the coming-out process, and work toward embodiment goals in a safe and affirming environment.

Victoria is credentialed through the International Transgender Certification Association (ITCA) as Louisiana’s first certified Transgender Care Therapist. She follows the Gender Affirmative Model to provide ethical, informed care for gender-diverse adults in accordance with the WPATH Standards of Care (Version 8). Victoria is qualified to provide HRT and gender-affirming surgery (GAS) letters that meet physician and insurance requirements.

The Gender Affirmative Model is an evidence-based, client-centered approach that affirms and supports an individual’s experienced gender identity and expression. This model recognizes gender diversity as a normal and healthy aspect of human development and emphasizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients can explore and express their authentic selves. Victoria utilizes the Gender Affirmative Model to collaboratively support clients in reducing stigma, improving emotional well-being, addressing minority stress and discrimination, and building resilience while honoring each individual’s unique identity, goals, cultural background, and developmental needs.

Victoria strives to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for LGBTQIA2S+ and QTBIPOC clients to foster self-understanding, empowerment, and sustained acceptance across all areas of life. She is committed to supporting clients as they move toward greater authenticity, alignment, and gender euphoria—where mind, body, and identity can exist in harmony.

Victoria provides telehealth sessions exclusively through Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant platform, and has been certified in teletherapy since 2020. She currently holds counseling privileges in Ohio and Minnesota.

Message to clients

I utilize a gender-affirming, client-centered, and solution-focused approach that empowers you to guide the focus of therapy and identify goals aligned with your identity, values, and personal needs. I believe you are the expert on your own lived experience, and I strive to provide a supportive, affirming environment that fosters self-understanding, resilience, authenticity, and emotional well-being.

Together, we will explore your gender journey, identify and reduce barriers, support access to affirming care, and develop practical, individualized solutions that promote empowerment and movement toward gender euphoria. Many clients experience meaningful relief from gender-related distress within the first 1–3 sessions using this collaborative and affirming approach.
